Representatives from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich discussed with technical personnel from Rui Song Technology various two-way interactive cross-border school enterprise cooperation methods, such as talent introduction, technology output, and joint research projects. Leveraging the advantages of their respective fields, they promoted the transformation and application of technological achievements, provided a broader practical platform for professional talents, and provided strong talent support for enterprise development.
On October 22, 2024, an 18-member delegation, led by Ernst Stocker, government councilor and head of the department of Finance, Canton of Zürich, visited Risong Technology. The delegation included representatives from the politics, enterprises, banks, and universities of Canton of Zürich. Sun Zhiqiang, chairman and president of Risong Technology, along with several senior executives and technical experts, received the delegation.

Currently, Risong Technology is continuously strengthening its domestic business, meanwhile expanding into international markets actively—not only deepening cooperation with more world famous enterprises, but also establishing close strategic partnerships throughout the supply chain. Risong Technology has already conducted business and technical collaborations in regions such as North America, Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea, and is actively seeking to expand its presence in larger overseas markets.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the China-Switzerland Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Recently, both countries have officially launched negotiations to upgrade the FTA and will work together to reach a high-level upgraded agreement on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win situation. The delegation from the Canton of Zürich seizes this opportunity to explore further cooperation with Chinese enterprises across various fields and assess the feasibility of such collaborations.

During the event, the delegation visited Risong Technology's Research and Engineering Center, Digital Experience Center, Automobile Engineering R&D Center, and Machine Vision R&D Center. Risong Technology highlighted its AI-based machine vision technology and products, showcasing their applications in various industries, as well as its digital platform，RIDP products based on industrial IoT intelligent manufacturing cloud.
The two sides discussed the development of the global digital economy, the industrial robot industry, as well as Risong Technology’s business products and its international market expansion.

Upon this visit, the delegation gained a strong interest in the intelligent production methods formed by the application of AI, industrial IoT, and machine vision technology. They also developed a preliminary understanding of the robotics industry in Guangdong Province and China. Both sides reached a consensus that digitalization and intelligence are key directions for sustainable economic development, laying the foundation for deeper exchanges and cooperation.

During the conversation, representatives from the ZHAW and ETH Zürich explored various forms of transnational school-enterprise cooperation, such as talent introduction, technology export, and joint research projects with Risong Technology. By leveraging mutual respective strengths, they aim to promote the transformation and application of technological achievements, providing broader practical platforms for professional talents, as well as a guarantee for enterprise development.
In the future, Risong Technology will continue to invest to research and innovation, strengthen supply chain management, and further enhance its international competitiveness and market influence, so as to accelerate its global expansion and intensify efforts to open up overseas markets.
